Two West Cumbrian Health Care Assistants have been praised today by the North Cumbria Integrated Care unit..
Tracey Carnochan and Helen Hartley stepped in last minute this week when they went to visit an elderly patient whose husband had suffered a fall and was taken away to hospital.
The two girls went the extra mile to providing top quality care then made time to help the lady with tasks that her husband would notmally have arranged for her.
Their acts of kindness have been highlighted by the North Cumbria Integrated Care board today after news of their extra work was mentioned by both the lady and her family.
The Trust said in a statement “that the girls are a pleasure to work with and their commitment and consistently high standard of work really helps our district nurse team to run smoothly.”
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust was created in October 2019 by a merger between Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the
North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust. It provides mental health and community services in Cumbria
It runs it also runs the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle, Cumbria, the birthing unit at Penrith Hospital and West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven.
