The place where every Penny spent stays in West Cumbria is reopening
The Hospice at home charity shop in Workington is reopening again next
The staff and volunteers have been working day and night to get everything ready to reopen next week.
They have taken this week to make sure all of the measures required to
ensure a good safe charity shopping experience.
Just to begin with they won’t be accepting any donated items until they
find their feet with the new ways of working. They will update us with
all the changes.
The Workington shop has been closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic but
the good news is it will reopen Wednesday 5th August 2020.
The staff tell us that they have worked hard to make the required
changes to ensure safe shopping. The volunteers and staff are biting at
the bit to get going again.
Every penny spent; stays in West Cumbria, and the shop will still stock
its wide range of products from clothing to books to ornaments and
accessories all at affordable prices.
The shop was set up so that All people in West Cumbria can have access
to personalised high-quality palliative and end of life care.
